Mountains & The Sea

Mountains & The SeaLove the minimalism here but IMHO it is rather unbalanced. Whilst I appreciate that you have used rule of thirds with the waterline on the line of thirds, I really think that the image would benefit from more sky, perhaps placing the mountain top on the line of thirds, and just a little less sea. I'm away at the moment so cannot test this out on my computer, and you haven't enabled mods anyway. Just a thought.

Self-Cleaning!

Self-Cleaning!Well observed and captured. I have never seen this behaviour before either. I think a different crop will place more emphasis on the snail and some minor adjustments will brighten it up - mod posted.

Give us a kiss sweetheartSuper shot, great title, and I love that 'whatever' tag.

Broken Rose

Broken RoseLovely idea and the rose image is nice, but I think you could have found a slightly better torn paper effect. 10/10 for imagination though.

Light my way, O LORD.

Light my way, O LORD.Lovely capture of the flame. I do think that a owed POV would have given us the compete flame and therefore a slightly more pleasing image.

"Dual Dhalia Flowers "

"Dual Dhalia Flowers "Two nicely captured flower shots. I would prefer a space between them but that's just me.

well

wellFabulous stairwell. You have captured the depth and form beautifully. If this were mine (I wish) I would tone down the highlights a bit, but hey, this is yours, not mine.

Fast Running

Fast RunningIt is a close call about the level of the waterline so I have modified both versions, simply brightening the foreground elements. It is a busy scene but there are some lovely elements within it, especially the water movement and distorted reflections. What is most important is that it captures a memory for you.

Last Year's glory

Last Year's gloryI love this one. If it had been mine (I wish) I would have cloned out the blurry bits on the bottom left as they distract from the lovely flowing lines of the blade-like leaves.

Focus Model

Focus ModelWell taken image with a nice background. I do think that a little work on hue/saturation helps to make the skin tone better though with V2 -9 on the hue slider made a big difference and took away that very yellow skin tone, with V1 -22 with just the yellow selected in hue saturation worked a treat.

Little Dancer

Little DancerLovely sculpture, lovely phone boxes, very sharp capture. Just my opinion here but I feel that they are competing for attention and I'm not sure which I am supposed to be concentrating on. If this were mine (I wish) I would decide which one I wanted to star and work on the image to make sure that the other was pushed into the support role. It is a pity that you haven't enabled modifications or I could have posted some of my ideas for doing this. I'm going to vote for the potential in this image to create other images from it.

The Towers. Just.

The Towers. Just.V2 for me though I would have desaturated the bright red 10 bottom right.

Amaryllis Oil Painting

Amaryllis Oil PaintingExcellent use of Topaz Simplify. The idea of the frame is good but I think it would work much better if the top flower was in front of the frame, the frame was a softer colour and there was another stroke around the edge of the image. I copied your V1 and did this but unfortunately you haven't enabled modifications so I can't post the result to see if you agree. If you would like to see my version just message me with your e-mail address and I will send it to you then delete your e-mail address immediately to protect your privacy.

New Brighton,

New Brighton,Sorry to be the spoiler here, but IMHO this shot has great potential but there are things about it that spoil it. First the foreground detail detracts from what I think is supposed to be the subject, the lighthouse. Second the lighthouse itself is very dull and recedes into the background cloud. I copied your image and worked on it and came up with what I think is a better result. First I cropped out some of the foreground then with the blur tool set to a low percentage softened the weed a little. Second I selected the lighthouse itself using the lasso tool then lightened it using the dodge brush. Then I gave it a faux mount. Unfortunately you haven't enabled modifications so I can't post the result so that you can judge for yourself (you might think my ideas are rubbish). If you do want to see my version, just message me with your e-mail address and I will send it to you then delete your e-mail address immediately to protect your privacy.

Stallion

StallionIt's a man thing to drool over particular models of car, but in spite of my indifference to the model, I do appreciate the sharpness of capture and light here. I would like more space above the car however.
Mayan WarriorsTemple at Chichén-ItzáLovely, interesting scene with great potential. It is a little over exposed, which is easily corrected, it needs rotating to get the horizon level and cropping to take out that blank bit bottom left. Typically for me I think that a frame would enhance it too. You haven't enabled modifications or I could post what I did but if you want to see my version, just message me with your e-mail address and I will send you my version, them delete your e-mail address immediately.

Stork-billed Kingfisher #1

Stork-billed Kingfisher #1Nice work. Did you use shadows/highlights or HDR to brighten the image? Whatever, I copied your image and worked on it and the bird stood out much better when I desaturated the background greens. If you want my version just message me with your e-mail address and I will send it to you and delete your e-mail address immediately afterwards.

Peepo

PeepoLovely creature nicely captured but I feel that there is a lot that can be done to lift this image and present it a little better, hence my two mods.

Arlington Row

Arlington RowIf you have Photoshop and you are shooting in RAW then Adobe Camera Raw has a neat slider entitled 'Fill Light' which could be useful to lift the lighting on these cottages in this shot. An alternative is the judicious use of Image>Adjustmemts>Sahdows/Highlights.

Nice image, well worth working on.

My Christmas present and I

My Christmas present and IA happy dog surrounded by Christmas chaos - a lovely subject nicely captured. It could use a bit of brightening though, which is very easily done using levels.
