Foxes from my stay with Lillian, a photographers trip with Wild Arena to the British Wildlife Centre. Again we were urged to make the shots as natural as possible, but as always, I couldn't resist some no pretence shots.
V1 is not my favourite but as usual, the one I thought made the most attractive thumbnail. Those of you who know how perverse I am will guess which ones are my favourites.
If anyone does this event, please, please, please wear waterproof trousers. Neither Lillian nor I did and we had wet bottoms for much of the day, not because of ageing ladies' bladder problems, but because of sitting on the very wet ground.
It was a wonderful day populated by fascinating wildlife, with the exception of one very tame and very cheeky vixen who tried to nick my camera bag. She was a real delight and every time she saw someone she knew and was fond of she rushed up to them, wagging her tail.
Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy some of them.

A wonderful set Lynne, but V7 is exceptional because she is smiling for the camera, I love the ones peeking through the grass also, as I have said before we raised a dog fox from a cub when the Vixen was killed by dogs when I was a child, we had him until he was 5.
Regards
Trev.
Perhaps next time you and Lillian go out Lynne, you should each have a whoopee cushion to keep your bottoms dry.It would have the added advantage of the gentlemen not mistaking you for a couple of Foxy ladies when they see the cushion tucked under your arms. But as usual you will probably think that I am just full of hot air.Another solution would be a plastic groundsheet for the pair of you to park your bottoms, but this could be mistaken for the plastic incontinence sheets they have in hospital beds. These little fold up canvas chairs could be the answer, but I know from bitter experience how embarrassing it can be as a large crowd begins to form as they watch you trying to figure out how to put the thing up in the first place.A shooting stick might do the trick as long as you remember to put the spikey bit in the ground and not the wrong way round. The easiest answer is to go out only on dry days but that will mean you will only have a handful of outings in a year.I really do not know the answer as to how to keep ones bottom dry.But there is no need really to get your knickers in a twist trying to figure it out !!

A wonderful set, Lynne, but just love V7! She seems to be having a real good laugh to herself ![]()

nice ..... very nice
my favourites are the ones with cameras included...
its what its all about for me. and thanks for the advice
Lynne, great set with first class clarity throught.......well shot.
Paul.
That is one impressive set Lynne!..all great and not even going to keep going
back and forth trying to decide on any one in particular!..have been and still cannot decide
Now as to Micks comment..I could add ''pampers''? maybe
as we must have had sunken trousers from all that wet and mud
but was great fun, and we were'nt the only ones!!
and we met Andy Rouse!
love the set
Lillian
What a delightful set of foxy images, Lynne: it would seem iniquitous to choose a favourite......they are all winners for me. But if pushed I'd perhaps settle for V 7 and 8.
As with others, I like the natural effect with the fox peeping out at you through the grasses.
And doesn't Mick always provide some light relief with his humorous remarks.
Wonderful natural photography on which you must be congratulated.
Ronnie.
Each one is excellent, Lynne, but v7 definitely draws a smile. I was also advised to put a black bin liner in my camera bag!
Dave
I really enjoyed browsing through this little set, what a wonderful time you must have had.
a fine set Lynne all have their merits a fine looking animal well captured was well worth the soggy rear mefinks
Graham
"Well Mr Fox?", the wily fox with a sometimes sly look as it watches through the grasses. Some wonderful expressions here.
Dougie
HOW sweet is it that she came to people wagging her tail??? Grrr...SO cute ![]()
These are all amazing captures, Lynne. Every single one. For a face-on foxy portrait, I think V10 totally rules.
The other 2 shots which really get me are V3 followed closely by V7.
Andrew
A fab set Lynne, I've enjoyed viewing them all. That foxy lady is certainly enjoying posing for the camera.
How could I miss this! Fantastic series and they are so beautiful and playful!
Amazing set of captures here Lynne and too difficult to choose favourites - with the exception of V7 - class shot.
Apart from your great shots, I get great entertainment from your page - Mick again.
Am also seriously green with envy to read you met Andy Rouse!!!! Lillian omitted to tell me that.
You going to tell me how to do that frame ![]()
. Moira
What a beautiful animal, so lucky for you to have the chance to meet such a character
Great capture lynne, and love the rest of the selection. ![]()
