A very quick, small (for me) upload of only 7 shots for Saturday Shadows before I dash off to do dog duty then go off to the hospital again. These were taken during our weekend away in Birmingham (November 17th-18th) where we went to see The Spanish Riding School at the NIA. It was a magical show but cameras were not allowed. The following day I trailed poor Garrath around the city centre and got loads of shots (prepare to be bored with more) including these ones that feature the shadows.
Thank you for all your messages of goodwill - they are truly appreciated by both myself and the patient who is making progress in spite of setbacks. Sorry I've only had time to view just some of the images by my favourite clickers, but life is hectic at the moment.

A well-observed and varied set; V1 and V2 my favourites but I can't decide why.......
Bill
Seven wonderfully composed, exposed and observed images Lynne each extremely worthy of their special slot. My particular favourites being numbers one and two. The light on the fallen leaf is really appealing, and extremely well captured, and presented.
Regards Nathan
V1 v2 for me Lynne good colours well presented.
John
I agree that each shot could equally well fill the V 1 slot, Lynne, but your choice for V 1 was well considered: love the detail, lighting with shadows, tones and textures.
My best wishes to the patient and yourself at this anxious and busy time.
Ronnie.
I assume these are the horses that do all that prancing and dancing Lynne, and an impressive sight it is too.Out of order not allowing pics though as I bet the tickets were a bob or two as well.It was not so an impressive sight though with all these Saturdays I spent in the bookies and all the prancing and dancing I did as my 50p each way bet fell at the first fence.I had enough practice at dancing to win that Strictly Dancing show on the telly.
A good set here, with your knocker sticking out front here as my favourite !!
Mick.
A fine set of images, Lynne...but V1 & V2 just have to be my faves! ![]()

Agree with majority Lynne, V1 and V2 my choice also, very good set.
Regards
Trev.
Looks like I'm following in the footsteps of almost everyone else here as it's V1 & V2 for me today too. I shall look forward to viewing the Birmingham images as that's where our son is living and working at the moment in a city I don't know at all. All my best wishes to you and to Garrath.
Ann
and again Lynne V1/2 for me figers crossed all keeps heading in the right direction for you both

Vs 1, 2 and 3 for me, love that statue, and the lion's head is a good lead to a fine shadowy set.
great set of piccies Lynne, I hope Garrath goes from strength to strength and trust you are looking after yourself as that is also very important, its a long road ahead![]()
HAve to be boring and predictable today, Lynne and go for one and two as well.
I have some relatives of v1 somewhere, taken at Sacre Couer...off to search the harddisk...must get around to organising things on there...
Malc
A nice selection of light and shadows, hope the patient keeps improving.
Dougie
Wonderful series of images, all beautifully captured and presented.
Hugh
Re my image today, it is actually apart of a very old steam powered vehicle taken at Beaulieu a while ago
H
I didn't think these would have too many knockers Lynne, my favourites are the ones with the leaves in as they epitomise the season of autumn
Love No 1 reminds me of Marley's door knocker in Christmas Carol.
Rick
I love the light going on here, it's accentuating the subject really well.
Maggie
ust be one of the most beautiful door knockers I;ve seen, the rest that the Lions head is on almost turns it into a Gryphon...beautiful crisp shot Lynne.
