Hi all, just to say I have not, and will not be around much for about 6 weeks. As such I will be very irregularly clicking and commenting on all your lovely images. This will most likely be my last image for a while. Happy snapping everyone Grin

As always, thank you for all clicks and comments on my last upload..Grin

I too would like to see the left hand image in full, the blades of grass 'ground' it and it looks to be full of atmosphere.

V2 is superb, it's pure atmosphere and deserves its own upload. The grasses at the bottom give the viewer a position in the frame, the background is perfect. A couple of suggestions:
It could do with just a few more pixels on the right - just omitting the burned edge framing would give a bit more sense of space to the right of the gull's wing-tip, but you could cheat by adding a bit of canvas space and cloning in detail. Assuming that your software permits, try adding say 100 pixels there. Use the clone tool with a large brush size and be careful not to create a pattern of visible repeats. The bit to the right of that gull will be the trickiest (I would copy from the area between its wings). But it would work very effectively here if done with care.
I would also clone out the single wing on the edge of the frame lower right.

Thank you very much Moira, unfortunately I have no software, as yet, for this type of " fixing"... I hope to be getting something a bit more 21st century in the long term future... Thank you again for taking the time to give me your very helpful suggestions. it is very much appreciated.. Grin
