Been using my human guinea pig again aka my Husband Tim.
Thanks for taking a look. There is much more detail in the larger version.
Like the contrast and yes supberb detail. To me he looks like he has just eaten something he doesn't like!

Loads of detail in the skin Lyns, looks great large....Cathy
might just be wind just kidding its a great shot love the whiteness of the eyes do you do anything to them or is that as is from the camera I have had a go at a B/W shot today but cant get the tones and depth that you do Lynns, any tips would be appreciated
a great image, good detail and contrast works well in b&w, nice one
Great detail in the large version, great portrait again. Well done!
SUPERB use of your husband, Lyns! ; )
Another fantastic portrait from you...
You are so good at this!
Those eyes are pin sharp!!
Lovely shot Lyns....
Wonderful shot, he has a touch of Will Carling about him. Very nice portrait.
Serious looking chap... brilliant portrait
Probably anger and frustration as they tend to come together.
strange, but in this case I prefer the normal version (which is simply stunning), almost as if there is too much detail in the larger version.
Nice shot Lyns with good detail!
Great shot of your husband looking very serious, the shadows on the face look very effective, great work.
great capture, love the crop and the detail
lovely crop, super detail, excellent toning - a wonderful portrait.
I don't know, but it looks good. Pretty husband. Bert
This is great Lyns, good crop and lighting and I love the moist eyes. Whatever the emotion I think he needs a hug.
You didn't ask Tim a question on washing machines did you? Great picture and conversion Lyn's isn't photographing people the best and most rewarding fun?
He dosn't look too pleased about having bubble bath dripping through his fingures does he? I'm sure you've managed to cheer him up since though.
All the best to you and the family Lyns.
Strong creative crop like it.
I wouldn't want to mess with him ! LOL An excellent portrait with good lighting !
All the elements are working together to make this an exelent Portrait. The detail has come out very well indeed.
The eyes have it! Excellent.
wonerful sharpness and light to this...i have more or less the same camera as you, but dont get photos like this...maybe i'm just rubbish..lol
strong eyes. a very bold portrait.
Well photographed! The catchlights really add to this.
Excellent portrait, details are superb!
Lynn stunning portrait and like the tight crop which brings out the detail plus strong emphasis on Tim's eyes!
oooooh fantastic, esp' in the large version! good title too lol
perfect lighting,great detail and crop!
you are reaaly good in this
have a great weekend and many thanks 4 your support!
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments - much appreciated. Lyns x
Mmmm ... he does look a bit grumpy, and even grumpier in the large version.
Once again another characterful portrait of Tim, very detailed and gritty. I like the contrast in your PF between this type of portrait and the softer shots of yourself and relatives.
Stunning portrait! I like it.
great expression, strength of character
Magnificent portrait. The choice of b&w is spot on.An excellent image.
