My Sister and her family came round at the weekend to see our cat for the first time and I took the opportunity to take a few shots of my Sister and her children. This is a shot of my niece Chloe, who'd just been grounded for eternity!!! She'll probably kill me for saying this!

Thanks for taking a look!

Lyns x

Brilliant portrait, works well in b+w.
Looks like you may have added to the DOF effect by blurring her neck.
If so, it looks just a tad overdun, maybe a little less blur would be better.
If you haven't manipulated than... weird, very weird.

Great shot nonetheless though!

Hi Lyns - this is a lovely portrait, I like the lighting and the mono effect. The blur on the neck adds to the image if anything giving more emphasis to the face. ......this is a very pleasing image that Chloe is sure to love......Geoff

Superb Lyn's such a good image, love the conversion and the softening and I'm so glad your managing to find some models, perhaps you should resort to Annalieses method and just drag someone in off the street lol.

Pooch.

A very 'unposed' shot which is what I like. Works well in monochrome too. Not sure I like the blurring around the neck however.
