Very picturesque. From what I remember of my childhood holidays in the north west of Donegal, they never looked quite so clean and tidy. Farmyards were cobbled at best and there was often evidence of the passing of what they called, "The beasts," cows to you and me Smile

Thanks Alan. From what I was told this cottage was inhabited until the mid 1980s. The place is now a heritage centre. Still there are plenty of these cottages in the area leased for tourism
