I wanted a title for this shot and being a bloke I was struggling. I probably would have called it "Little Owl on a Garden Standpipe" and my secretary looked at me as if I was an idiot (there may be some truth in that!) and came out with the title. She was very good at that sort of thing, in fact, she was very good at most things. Smile

a little too much headroom for my personal taste - but see 'issue' with own upload yesterday - but does not detract from a great image. i have to confess that my PA / secretary / office manager / tea maker etc is equally indispensable

love the non-background but was initially baffled by the 1/80s gamble before i noticed flash was used. is this a genuine wild creature (unlike my own) ?

That really is such a great shot, and certainly the title is spot on too,
Colin the background shows him off perfectly, and I personally and hopefully you
would not change a thing!
good lighting and detail throughout

Stunning capture. Exposure and lighting great. Lovely image.

(If it helps you redress the balance with your secretary, owls have really tiny brains and no wisdom. Smile)
It is an excellent title, though. Tongue)
