Robin by Oldroadster a critique comment: like the image not only for the robin, which always seems to attract attention, but also for the upper background. The image is sharp and very well exposed. But for me the image consists, at least that is how I perceive it, of four parts competing for the eye's attention: the lovely upper background, the lower, bit duller background, the stake, and the main subject, the robin. Maybe by a simple more panoramic cropping one could reduce the role of the duller lower background and the stake. |

Jonathan Livingstone by Big_Beavis what a lovely image taken with an old Takumar, very good lighting in it and a great sky signature; thanks David |
the closer you image them the more hightech they become; well done! |
very interesting image; why not rework towards B&W and bring out those boys a little more and that sky and detail under control |
Can you make a great shot of despair? It drips from the image like the streaks - are they blood or tears - on the door she sits against and the street is wet. There is only one niggle to despair you: would have liked to see her a little bit out of the center by cropping a little from the pavement. |
like it and the idea of contrast which is well dramatized; maybe, maybe: too much processing, girl too much centralized? |
I never knew that birds did also exercise gymnastics; indeed so amusing to see, thanks for sharing this one. |
indeed rough and saddening the eyes; but you present here an excellently manipulated image with serious subject matter too and that should deserve more attention. |
wonderfully clever indeed, first the asymmetrical geometry, the texts that make no sense, then the eye dwells to the treat of the image and the leash is the finisching touch that makes you wonder who ..... |
Do you need a friend? by rayme330 A fine snap from life enhanced by the casual composition; thanks for your comment on "view on paris"; it was taken without a tripod, in a causal way |
People of Influence by wideangler two defining principles that show civilization is in progress, though it is a tough and hard way. |
Ill Matched Lovers by wideangler men do only think of sex, I am a man |
a vote for your work but not for the creator who must have got his inspiration from a nightmare; funny how the other colours resemble. |
