- the thaw was turning the snow into a receding glacier; I noticed two birds behaving rather frivolous if not amorous; was I witnessing a double thaw - their image was rather easy to take, when a bird flies off one has simply no time with manual focus lenses to refocus, however these two swirled around one another in a teasing flight dance and thus staying within my focus plane - thanks for looking
