dear readers, please comment and don't just view and skip.
COMMENTS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED, although no comment is also a comment...lol
There's a tiny touch of movement and it looks like you've applied digital noise reduction because you shot it at ISO1600.
I never go over ISO800 when I have an f2.8 lens attached as you get to much grain. I'd rather under expose the shot then adjust exposure in post production in my RAW editor (Canon EOS Viewer).
The composition is OK, but I think yesterdays shot is better for interest(although the water bottles are annoying!).
Agree, the movement in the face detracts from a good composition. At ISO 1600 with 2.8 Im surprised you couldnt freeze this one.
THANKS for the comments, indeed the one of yesterday was the best one of the whole lot. I already used underexposure of 1 stop and even then with 1600 asa at f2.8 I succeeded in shaking, I see. Shuttertime was 1/125 second so too slow for 300mm equiv to shoot out of hand properly. alfred
i like it. movement doesn't bother me that much to be honest...i can't help but drool over the selmer sax!
I like the whole picture, movement or no.
