The Dutch felt so sorry that the wren is such a small bird
that their language decided to give it a larger name:
it literally means 'the little king of winter'.
As it is also rather inconspicuously dressed and swift
the bird is difficult to sight let alone photograph.
I was taken by surprise and had time to take two shots
with one good enough to work with.
