This tulip drew my attention with two of it's petals wigwagging, caused by the wind and it's age, being an elderly scaled to our own life period. Thus, it allowed me to look occasionally at it's heart at it's own level and not, as usual, from my top; I liked and still like the resulting mystical yellow triangle, blackened out the backdrop, making the actor appear on stage.

This is a beautiful shot , I agree it's great to look at the tulip like this , I tried this with a red/yellow one.

Tulips seem photographable no matter what stage they're at and you have produced a very attractive image with this one.
