Views of Ghent, Belgium and Hardifort, FranceHi Ray, firstly the scenery is great, composition is V good too but V1 + V2 especially are a wee bit on the "milky" side as if lacking contrast. As you're using a 50D I feel the quality seems a bit short. Meant as honest critisism not just a snipe mate, hope you dont mind.Be interested to have a go myself on your original files for V1 and 2. However, for the great scenery and composition still gets my vote.

the painter's dream

the painter's dreamI'm going to be different to everyone else Andy, V1 +2 aren't your usual in your face colours (although the framing is good) and V3 is a bit on the dark side considering its a horse portrait. I hope this doesn't give offence it's meant as critique not to be offensive.

best regards

Cradle Mountain - Tasmania

Cradle Mountain - TasmaniaAn eye catching scene with good composition in my opinion but somehow the colour doesn't look right. Not so much the saturation but the hues. It may be a thing from the other side of the world as I'm told skies do look different abroad ! Anyway apart from the colour bit a good scene and a vote for that from me.
