Thanks all.
Ange, i was very nervous to start with, but when i got home and looked and at the photos i had taken, i was very pleased. i have done a few now and each day has been so different.
That said i would only want to be there as backup as the pressure is enormous to get them so right. 
I know how you feel, I was very nervous when I did my first wedding and still the adrenalin flows each one I do. The pressure to get it right for the B&G is a huge responsibility and so far the clients have been very pleased. It's a complete different way of taking photographs and the learning curve has been a steep one for me but I have enjoyed the journey and.... you never stop learning

Very wise to do it as a backup photographer, I'd hate to be the main one too, just in case something goes wrong.
