went looking to photograph a colour ringed R Plover i spotted yesterday and came back with a Purple Sandpiper....
a little over exposed on the white but hey you can just make out the purpley tint on the upper wing 
it was a bit of a grabshot really with my boots clinging on to the limpits
(maybe you wont notice the white it if you squint a little)
