Taken at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park earlier this year.
There were a few of these hanging in the wooded areas, they are placed to encourage solitary species of Bees and other Insects to nest.

These seem to be more and more popular in Garden Centres as the Bee continues to decrease in numbers year on year.

We have something similar here for a special type of bee. Ones that are more friendly and only want to pollinate. Not sting.
