The annual procession held on the Saturday after the first of May every year in the village of Gawthorpe, Yorkshire.
This shows the May Queen in her carriage. Normally the May Queen rides a horse but for some reason she was in a carriage this year.
Maybe another victory for the Health & Safety jobsworths..... or maybe the May Queen didn't want to ride a horse!
