At last there were two skippers around on Saturday, up on the plateau!
this is Oberthür's Grizzled Skipper (Pyrgus armoricanus). Second view is for his nose!

Three different approaches but each captured in fine detail, colours, etc: possibly your V 1 is my favourite though.

This tiny grizzly is a much lighter colour and doesn't have such strong markings as its British cousin, v1 is a top shot of it basking
