A colourful picture for a depressing wet day! Ron and I had a couple of days in this vibrant town on the island of Burano in the Venetian Lagoon. The colours of the houses are simply amazing and look wonderful in this environment. This is when a blue sky seems to work!

Nicely off-beat composition.
The sort of colour that just doesn't work in our light and climate.

The pink against blue is not an oft seen combination. Strong contrast and some lovely shadows, Maggie.

Wonderful colour. I wish we would be a bit brighter in the UK sometimes, in all areas.

I have seen many images from here and the colours of the buidlings are a photographer's deam.
Like your choice of composition here, Maggie.
Excellent crisp detail and the mauve against the deep value sky looks splendid.
Ronnie.
