Amazing colour tones as water and steam tumble together at Mammoth Springs in Yellowstone National Park. One of nature's most beautiful sights! This was the final scene of a path that took us down through many different hot springs, with as many colour changes in each new area we walked through.

So beautiful Maggie. Lovely pastel colours, almost frozen steam.

Rock softened by haze. This is so very subtle.

Wonderful striations and pastel colours, Maggie, I like the diagonal transition of tone from top right to bottom left.

It's hard to tell where the rock ends and the water begins...

Beautiful, and well photographed.

Must have been a wonderful experience just being there, the added bonus being able to bring home memories such as this, Maggie: quite an unusual image, needing to be seen large as the thumbnail gives little away.
Ronnie.

Wonderfully weird. Looks like a Stone Age painting.
