The Great Spotted Woodpecker ( dendrocopos major )
Pleased to pick up this female woody as result of an invitation to a friends garden a few weeks back. Shot through a kitchen open window. What a garden- wish it was mine !!!
I think she is lovey and I hope you will too.

An excellent Woody Ron and fine side on pose on a terrific perch.
Personally I would have tried to remove the light parts of the bg as they draw the eye and distract from a superb bird capture
