A camellia making the most of the sun - hard to find blooms that have not been frosted, but they are there if you search.

A big thank you to PhillipMinnis for a GEA on Lost for Words and also to digital_boi, barbarahirst, Caziwinkles, Bzox and moiral for their User Award.

Regards
Carole

Also a thank you for your kind wishes. Nick's sister fell and fractured her ankle on Easter Monday, the ward was then closed because of the noro virus and the poor soul was without visitors for 12 days, her phone would not hold its charge either! Last Wednesday she had the 'scaffolding' removed in a 5 hour op when they put in plates and 16 pins, but at least by Thursday the ward was then open again. Indications are that she may be allowed home this week.

Beautifully lit and captured in excellent detail, the veining in the petals so well recorded.
And I like your presentation too, the bloom standing out so well against the more subdued b/g.
Ronnie.

My camelia bush is full of buds right now, so I suggest you give yours a few more days, and you'll get the chance to take plenty of shots as good as this one.
