Just reeds & reflections, a quiet evening at the loch....
Simply effective and well composed.

Very calm Malcolm.
Beautifully minimalist. And a lovely capture of surface tension!
I like the composition and calm feel of this image. If it were mine, I would consider cloning out the spot on the water towards the top (right of centre). This may be sensor dust or it might be something on the water; either way I find it a little distracting.
Classic and very beautiful, the reflections add much to this one!
An extremely minimalist image, which is so very calming, simply quire beautiful, and a please to view.
Superb simplicity Malcolm.
All of the above... This is lovely and peaceful. Simple and tranquil.
And I'd clone out that mark, as well as a small one straight to the right of the right-hand leaf reflection - why can i see this sort of thing so much more easily in other people's pictures than in my own?
Finally, I think it would be even better if it was just slightly brighter - the colours suggest a bright day to me, but the tones say quite overcast... And lighter suits the heavenly trnaquillity the picture suggests.
Excellent piece of work, so simple but creatively well done with superb processing and presentation.
Beautiful, I do za lot of this kind of stuff. I'd suggest losing the horizontal reed to keep the comp. as simple as possible, but that's only if you're comfortable with that..
either way nice one
