An old cottage in rural Angus. Don't know why it's never been renovated, it's in a lovely situation, & I often stop for a shot or two of it.
Beautifully remote and derelict Malcolm, and those colours of summer

Oh my word this is just heaven.
I'd stop there forever!
What did you do to get this lovely effect on rape field.
I love it.
Super image Malcolm,
Superb, great location
A beautiful image and elegant composition, Malcolm.
Lovely layers of light and shades.
Thanks Kate for your UA - appreciated.
The rape field is pretty well as seen, texture, lines colours all there. A small degree of Orton applied in layers, & usual minor tweaks.
Cottage is on way to my mother-in-law's house (imagine a Les Dawson smiley here) so pass it quite often....
A sea of undulating greens and yellows. Very pretty indeed.
A spectacular riot of color and an eye catching composition make this a 10!
Lovely gradation of yellows and greens, Malc.
Excellent. Love it.
This is just dreamy

Wonderful color-- works well on a cold damp day!
The oilseed rape shows it up so well - great composition and riot of gorgeous yellow!
I am delighted to see you have some awards on this shot! dismayed I can't add to them, a vote will have to do I'm afraid, regards Leon.
Possibly the cost of having water and electricity is to astronomical, plus a decent access
Cracking shot !!
It looks good but the smell of that blasted crop, gives me the heeby jeebies. It knackered my sinus years ago when I lived in the country for a while.
Makes a bonnie image for sure.
Certainly a des res, and what a grand looking location. Like the depth in this one, Malcolm, provided by that vast area of rape.
This is just beautiful. I love it
