An old cottage in rural Angus. Don't know why it's never been renovated, it's in a lovely situation, & I often stop for a shot or two of it.

The rape field is pretty well as seen, texture, lines colours all there. A small degree of Orton applied in layers, & usual minor tweaks.
Cottage is on way to my mother-in-law's house (imagine a Les Dawson smiley here) so pass it quite often....

It looks good but the smell of that blasted crop, gives me the heeby jeebies. It knackered my sinus years ago when I lived in the country for a while.
Makes a bonnie image for sure.
