Captures the iriddescent nature of the hairs/scales Malcolm. Shallow dof just noticable with that lower wing.

Great to capture a butterfly at all this year.
Personally I love butterfly images best when
they harmonise with the flower.

A rather fantastic macro photograph Malcolm, full of gorgeous natural colour, superb detail, which enhances the beauty of this rather handsome looking 'Tortoise Shell Butterfly' so very well indeed.
