A very welcome visitor.....
Would be welcome in my garden any time !!! Malcolm. Gorgeous image.
Good details and colours too Malcolm.
Nice capture, we don't see many of these around our way any more,
Well done, Malcolm. A superb image.
Gorgeous. Lovely whites and DoF. Well captured.
He has that typical Bunting eye - black and hardly reflective to any catch-light
So if anyone mentions the lack of eye light, refer them to the above
Thanks for that Adrian, didn't know that.
As well I didn't Photoshop one in.....
Very good shot, Malcolm.
Great capture Malcolm.
Not a bird we'll see everyday.
Looks good against the snow.
Tomcat's point is interesting about black eye
and not a bird to get good catch light.
What a cracking shot Malcolm, its on my wishlist.
Lovely capture and pose, Malcolm. We have these in the hedgerows in our lane, but I have never been able to catch one in the clear yet! Interesting about the non reflective eye - however, viewed on my iPad 3 retina screen I can see a good catchlight, although not as pronounced as in other species.
