I love this, particularly the way the blue reflections in the wet sand echo the boy's clothes. The wonky horizon is lightly off-putting - I've been scrolling up to cut off the water completely (so crop down to just a bit above his head) - it works for me.

I think this is a really simple yet effective and thoughtful shot.

I agree with Moira about the coloured stripes on the clothes matching the horizon blues. Shame about he tilted skyline as I feel it works better with the sky's colour in it.

This is lovely Mandy! I agree with Moira re the horizon, but apart from that its lovely. I love beaches and all that comes with them.
