We have to see a shot in closeup like this to really appreciate the depth and sublety of the colours in the plumage of the Starling. Cracking good st Steve.

This is a stunning photograph, starlings are so beautiful but it takes a close up to appreciate the subtleties of the colours.

Such beautiful colours captured here, not only the iridescence but the yellow beak and even the blue base of the male. What detail! Looks like he may have been having a shake beforehand too. Great composition and perch makes this just about perfect!
