I think you are right: the mono treatment works so well, there being a good range of tones and contrast, and I guess this version carries greater impact than the coloured.
Superb image.......the way the light is catching of the sides of the tops and the strong reflections all contribute to an excellent shot.

Beautifully crisp image Mari, monochrome suits this image so well, the clean lines and the reflection all add to the huge enjoyment of this shot across the Loch from the far side for a change.

From memory Mari, I'm guessing the Pap of Glencoe is some way off to the left.
