I was pleased to get this Ostridge sitting down, as my usual type of picture is the head only, but I liked all feather details as this one fluffed itself up.

Nice low viewpoint Marian, and lovely details in the plumage.

Good shot Marian and you've caught some great detail in the feathers of the body; but it's a shame the head isn't either raised or in profile and for me the composition is helped a bit by getting in closer and losing about 25% off the right which also moves the head off centre.
