This is part of a series of pictures being used in a documentary about the effects of construction in the Spanish landscape.
As a photo in its own right I think the subject matter is a bit mundane and you need to struggle to make it interseting. I like the graphic qualities of this - I'd suggest cropping from the top to bring the top left diagonal into the corner.
The whole thing is a bit "washed out" and abit of work with contrast or preferably the burn brush and/or curves would help bring out detail in the interior
Hop ethat's some use
What an awesome background to put a subject in. Why can I never find locations like this?
There's a million things you could do here with a million different subjects.
Great background but it really is only that. There isn't any subject to be seen.
I find it interesting. This is the skeleton of someones dream holiday/home. When it is decontextualised like this, it fails to convey any drama. However within a body of work "about the effects of construction in the Spanish landscape" I can imagine it could work very effectively. It reminds me of Donavan Wylie or Daniel Traub and Robert Harding Pittman or John Duncan.
