and isn't christmas getting closer.
Another weekend spent mostly in the bathroom. Things are progressing well. 95% of the plumbing is done - just need to tile the shower then the controls and the riser can be fitted to finish the plumbing.
One large wall to tile (and the shower) then just finishing off the edges....... There are some jobs you just really look forward too
Sorted out the lights, we now have three posh looking spotlights in the main area plus a shower spotlight above the shower. Thought I was being good to the environment when I got the three spotlights as they are all specifically designed for the bathroom environment and they are energy savers.
Have since realised that when winter comes and I get up on those cold dark mornings (not worried about the cold due to the large towel radiator) that I will ahve to turn on the bathroom light then go and make a cup of tea before the light is bright enough to have a shave by. Do they save energy by only outputting half the required light for a certain amount of time, in the hope you will have finished what you are doing and turned the light off by then?????
Anyway, happy with the progress to date, hopefully another couple of full days on the job and it will be finished - unfortunately the next full day on the job will be in approx 2 weeks
Did manage to get the camera out of the bag this weekend. Saturday evening was very pleasant (compared to the rest of the weekend it was bloody brilliant!) so we went for a walk along the grand union canal in Berkhamsted. Took some pleasant evening pictures including this one which I posted up yesterday.
What is so wrong with it?
5 unique views and 1 comment on nice light. Thought it might have got a slightly better response. Never mind, perhaps I should sell the camera and purchase a decorating franchise, lol.
Oh well, another lunch break is over. Have posted my time for the avatar suduko - go on see if you can beat it.
Better get on with the day job.
