Actually 'Sheenanigans' it was taken in March and it was absolutly freezing! Colour toning can give a very different mood though, if you look at this image: Leaning lighthouse, it has a warmer feel to it even though it was taken only minutes after this image.
Love the sky in this - not sure if you've done something to it or not. If you have - it works. If not my advice is take the credit anyway! Good shot. Nick.
thanks for all the comment, the whole image is mage up from using levels layers in ps. By 'painting' black onto the mask, you can mask out that levels settings e.g. to change the contrast in the foreground, make a new levels layer then with that layer active, paint out the sky section with black. This way if you make a mistake, just change to white and paint the effect back in!
