This was a particularly miserable day and i was soaked after waiting under a tree to get these shots. The light was terrible and it was still pretty drizzly which makes the picture look very noisy in the background. However, I really liked this shot of the lone fawn.

The soft lighting under the conditions you describe does help to bring out the natural colours, and you have captured the fawn on a lovely 'pose'. Nice work.
