Hello all,
Clavell's Pier as the sunset yesterday, bizarrely the weather was too good and the day was spent cloud chasing, sadly none to be found, it did lead to some beautiful colours as the sun set though.

Apart from removing a couple of dust bunnies, straight out of the camera!

Thank you all for your very supportive messages, I'm still about and clicking and commenting where possible.

Great composition and lighting for a serene image. Have you tried a square crop of the middle section, since there's not a lot going on in the areas that would discard?

Al, No I hadn't tried it, I know there is some "wasted space" but I like the atmosphere it adds. I may well give it a try and see how it looks though, thanks for the suggestion.

Like it alot Mark. I would make one suggestion and that is next time try to keep the horizon off the top of the rocks so that it doesn't look like the horizon is balancing on the rock.

Another beauty Mark, I love the tonal range. Looking forward very much to coming down your way in September and hoping that the tuition we have booked on your recommendation gives us the skill to produce work as good as yours!

Beautiful seascape and I love the simplicity of it. Although I'm not a landscape expert, I think that clouds would have spoilt this. Some may disagree but I love it the way it is. Please accept my UA...!
