What a marvellous show Mother Nature puts on for us every now and again. This was the sunrise on Sunday 19th August 2012 with the mist running low along the horizon and these beautiful pastel colours spanning the sky.

I was planning on uploading to the gallery another impressionist image, but decided to leave it as a portfolio image for today and upload this instead. Thank you to those who commented on yesterday's image.

The title... Well those of an age will remember Pilot, and the oh oh oh it's magic....

Thanks as always for stopping by, have a great week.

Impressive morning colours, Mark, the closest I've been to daybreak is from the bed looking out of the window! A lovely expansive view and the the positioning of the bales down the edge gives form without detracting from the light show.

What a wonderful sunrise! Mother nature invented blue ray before us !
The hay rolls give us a modern Stonehenge .
