Out first thing yesterday (and todaySmile), but as the sky was cloudless I zipped around to Ladybower. A little bit of surface mist and fairly calm water led to this and I decided to omit the sky. Taken from the footpath as I was being watched by the guy across the road!! Wink

Lovely sense of calm....must be the blue.
Mavis

I like the warmth of the inner section of the boat, amid the cool blue tones of the lake.Very nice piece of photography Martin.

I remember that guy from my last trip to this location, wonder if he is related Sad to the guy who runs the cafe down at Padley.

Fine rendition Martin.
Might be worth a trip out this afternoon too, the sky looks suitably dramatic at the moment!

The guy at the Grindleford Cafe has gone now Ian....he sold up a while ago, but the cafe hasn't changed much since and still had all the notices on the walls last time I went in. Good to here from you too...I hope all are well Smile

Your comment promtped me to check your photo. Nicely done, I like the way you've framed everything in the photo. It looks perfectly still and reflecting nicely. Your zoom lens has clearly been put to good use in this shot.Grin
