Now that is interesting, and certainly very different for a bluebell shot.

You can almost imagine them being made of glass - a little brooch to pin onto your lapel. Lovely.

creating a pretty image with nice shapes and the fact that it is so small in the frame points to its delicate nature and short life

Pretty and very delicate - how do you find the Sigma lens? Been thinking of buying a macro lens.

Michael, I have had the lens for years...in fact my first award on here was for a shot of a flower using the Sigma (on film!!). I don't use it a great deal, but I have always got good results from it when I do Smile

Lesley, this was one of four images taken for camera club with blue as the theme, hence the background. Ironically, a technical hitch with the lap top on the night threw the colour out slightly and it ended up with a white background Sad

Thanks again to all for your time Wink
