Taken on a recent frosty morning at Foxton Locks in Leicestershire. A bit cold, but well worth the trip and time off work to catch the frost with some sun on it.
These gates aren't the actual locks themsleves, but the stop gates on the arm to the site of the old inclinded plane which will close in event of a leak, preventing 22 miles worth of canal water draining out!
