Captured today at the car wash. This was the pattern the suds left on the window screen, it appealed to me... Have had a disaster with my pc, inadvertently formatted the damn thing, without backing it up, oops! Lost all my photos, all 7000 of them! 😒hope you like this one, have a great weekend all.

The suds make a great abstract.
I would be devastated if I lost all my pictures.
Is there no way of retrieving them???
A pleasing abstract that can't compensate for the loss of 7k photos. At least you'll have a fair number archived on EPZ.
I suppose you could treat events as a good reason (or excuse) for going out and taking lots more!
Regards
Bill

Thanks Bill, your right, my new album starts today!!!![]()
Oh no Martin. Nightmare. Thankfully, as Bill mentioned you will have many archived here and any other website you use. I always back my images up on an external now after losing a few thousand images some months back after PC packed up.
Very effective image above
Different, i like it
Mark
excellent capture.
Now Martin, don't panic.
Put the hard drive in an external box, get a new one, stick it in and then run a recovery program only scanning for picture formats!!!!
DO NOT install anything on the old HD, connect it after starting the recovery program.
I had it once that a HD died on me, but could read 80% of it and luckily lost mainly the software and not many of the photos as they were in the last partition.

Thanks Annette, I have just purchased an external HD, will try to recover them, fingers crossed...![]()
Everyday subject made into a work of art. I love what you have done with this. The framing is the final touch to make it great....Peter
