Just ordered my new 7D! Yum! While I wait, here is one from Shropshire last week.
Grabbed some postcards when we first arrived to see what was about and noticed this interesting location. Logged on to EPZ and saw a few images from here but not many. We visited The Stipingstones for a sunset but my youngest is autistic and doesnt wait around very well so I worked out the time to get here thanks to the sat nav and someone on EPZ had said this was 15 mins walk from the car park.
I duly set off, family and dog in tow and realised that the satnav was lost! We arrived a little short of time and I grabbed the gear and charged off down a path I presumed would take me to the top. It soon became clear though that I was only going sideways, so I decided to climb up a steep hill, climbed over a barbed wire fence as the sun was disappearing. I arrived, set my gear up with sweat pouring off me and started shooting. This was the first image I shot so you can see how close I was to sunset! I shot some more with the sun behind the mountain which I have yet to process. Still at least it keeps you fit!

Great image - sure does help keep you fit (I think) !

A great story and a good result. I rarely take my camera with Tom, as we are often in different post codes....most of my efforts are aimed at keeping him in sight. Posted a shot or two of him on the 10th of Jan to show what I'm up against ![]()
The area is called the Stiperstones not stipingstones, I dont live to far away. But not bothered with this area yet, it does has potential for some crackers.
Am exhausted just reading this
....
A very nice image .
