Another from my second jaunt to St Michaels Mount on our recent holiday.
The sun finally cleared the land behind to light up the causeway, and the mount itself. A rather nice morning to be there.
Lovely work indeed mate some fine light in there and a great place to be when it comes together like that.
Hope you are well mate, regards to you and the family too.
Makes you want to walk along that pathway - brilliant !
Cracker Martin. Fab sky and light in the f/g path.
Beautiful - this was all re-layed about two years ago - you have caught a very special moment with the sun just perfectly catching both the causway and St M's M - Lord levant woudl be proud to have this hanging in his drawing room I am sure.
This is a beautifull Photo, well done, you inspire me to try again.
I really must get down there soon, if I come away with anything half this good I'll be elated!
superb perfect light
Martin, I've enjoyed all of your uploads this week but I've decided this one gets a GEA for a really wonderful composition using the causeway to lead the eye, the gorgeous warm light with the touch of colour catching the clouds and the superb fg detail
This is fantastic love it.
Superb light and tones - and the composition couldn't be better. Excellent image.
Definately on the 'hit-list' to visit, great light and cracking comp.
Yes, one i must visit and if i can do something half as good i will be well chuffed
Many thanks to you all, and especially to Charlotte for the GEA.
This has to be one of the best I've ever seen from this location, Martin. It is just out of this world. I can barely begin to imagine how excited you must have felt when that light finally emerged.
What a shame you didn't have this to hand when they were asking for entries to this year's Landscape Photographer of the Year. Well, there's always next year.
A beautiful morning to be there Martin. Stunning rich sunlight on the causeway and Mount, and a beautiful sky also. Top drawer!!
Must admit to a little smile Ian
glorious colours and light
Should I be crossing my fingers, Martin?
No, not for LPOTY (not entered this year), but I certainly smiled when the sun finally came all the way across to the mount.
Superb. The shot I have wanted for many years but never had the conditions
Sorry i haven't commented for a while Martin ,puters gone nutzo !!!!,anway congrats mate on a superb image ,super light
