Welcome to EPZ Martin.

I think shooting into the sky has resulted in an image thats a little too dark, and perhaps a positive exposure compensation would have brought more detail from the shadows and the mountain.

Its has some nice elements that draw the eye to the summit.

Ive loaded a mod where Ive used the shadow tool in CS4 to lighten the darker areas. Ive cropped a little from the sides also.

Hope you find this helpful,

Regards

Willie

I think your scanning has gone a bit amiss here. Everything is very heavy and contrasty, which can often happen with a transparency scan.

Needs to be rather lighter, as in the mo.

Welcome to the site Martin.

I like the composition. The rock looks like a train to me with steam coming out the top! But I agree very much with Willie and Paul that you need much more light and detail in the shot to make it work, as per their mods.

Best wishes

Catherine
