I love this photograph! I have no idea why your image lost to mine. Your image is 100 times better, in my opinion! I hope this wins more vs. challenges. This is a fantastic photo! Great job!

Sarah by robCPS

The composition is excellent! Technically, there is nothing wrong with this shot at all! I love how the colours have been brought out. The only thing that makes me ponder is, what is she looking at and why? Is she admiring the tabletop? If so, why? For myself, there is no context for her pose. If there was a photograph or letter or even a small box she was looking into, that would have been much better in my opinion. Other than that, it's a wonderful photograph.

I love this portrait! Without saying anything, this photograph speaks volumes! "A picture says a thousand words"? Well, yours speaks that and more! You got my vote!

You got my vote! This is excellent photography!

Very nice image. You've captured this antelope very well! Where were you, when you took this great image of this springbok antelope?

This is an excellent shot. It looks like something Girl Guides would do.

Pompoms by M_squared

This is an excellent photograph. I took one of the round purple thistle that's in the background. I love this shot, as it shows a variety of colours that go nicely together - blue, purple and green with a wee touch of pink, if you look closely enough. Though it's outside your comfort zone, you did a marvelous job.

This is a wall-hanger foresure, as well as a featured photograph for your portfolio, in my opinion. What a wonderful capture. Great job!

Normally I'm not a big fan of parts of flowers unfocused. I typically like seeing the entire thing (except the background) in focus. However, this photograph "speaks" to me somehow. I just love it! It has that je ne sais quoi quality. The lighting and framing and general composition are bang on, like most (if not all) your photographs. Another vote from me.

Great photograph. My one and only suggestion would be to "boomify" the colours. Saturate them a touch more. Other than that, you did another bang on job.

My first thought on this shot was it was a shadow play about Peter Pan. There is something Peter Pan-ish about this photograph somehow. Being a Peter Pan fan, I have to love this shot, even though it has nothing to do with the novel. You have another vote from me.

Pointless by banehawi

Another excellent shot! My only suggestion would be (keeping with the title), is to have the "points", pointing to absolutely "nothing", instead of the piece of the blown out branch. Other than that, I love this photograph! You got my vote.

A peeling

With this shot, you can see just how thick the paint was applied. The dew and cobwebs are an added touch. I like the small paint "pool" on the right. It still looks wet, after all these years. The lighting, framing and general composition is excellent. Very nicely done!

There is only one thing that I can find, and I know I'm just as guilty as a lot of people who shoot portraits out their, and that is not having the model's eyes in focus. (in this case eye). Other than that, the lighting, framing and complete composition is bang on. The post processing is superb too I must add. You have my vote!

Beautiful portrait! I love how her eyes are in foccus with the rest of her face. I've seen too many portraits (including some of mine unfortunately) with out of focus eyes. The lighting is bang on as is the rest of the photograph. The only thing I'm not a fan of is anything not originally in/on the photo before post processing like copyrights, and other "this belongs to me" type distractions. But that is a personal thing. To me, it distracts from the overall beauty of the photograph. Other than that, you got my vote.
