Now the cycling season is over its time to get back to photography. This was a visit to Monk Coniston last week the day after the gales.
I was supprised at how high the level of the lake was, so this was not the image I had in mind.
Also, I was disapointed that the sky did not have more cloud in it to give it more intrest, but its all I have from last week so I hope you like it.

and you said you came back with nothing. Quite a lovely image Martin, if you could have got higher to separate the jetty posts from the dark reflections it may have been a bit better (I guess you couldn't though) and I'd try a crop without the top third of the sky.
