This was my favourite bird at a Falconry display yesterday, it is a Gyr Falcon X Saker. . I would love to have captured one of the birds in flight but the flight display wasn't beginning until 2 0'clock which was the same time as the start of the Tennis final, so I simply had to head back home for Andy Murray - support through the airwaves. Wonderful Gold meadl win . Really enjoying the Olympic coverage.

Nice shot of the falcon, Mary, with excellent detail in the eye.
Congrats to Andy, so good he managed to win the time over his Wimbledon final's opponent.
The UK team is really delivering the goods once again, at present third in the medal league table.
Ronnie.

Hi Gary thanks for the gold medal comment but what "blasphemy Wink " re my hero. I met both him and his mother at an event near Glasgow where they were opening a re furbished tennis centre in a very poor area, both were so patient , kind and helpful with the children who turned up for some tennis coaching from our national hero.

A rather stunning close-up photograph depicting this rather gorgeous Falcon portrait, stunning natural colour and exquisite detail running throughout its fine plumage.

Regards Nathan
