Having a bit of a change for a couple of weeks!
Thanks to some very constructive critique I got yesterday from Ade Mcfade who suggested I broaden my range of photography I am going to have a go at firstly people then animals and try and show you more of where I live and what I see on a daily basis
This is Gary my wonderful husband of 26yrs relaxing reading a book in the garden
All comments critique will be warmly accepted as I really do want to learn how to improve
thank you
Mary

you've made a very intimate portrait here, going mono is my favoured route with portarits - you concentrate far more on the feel of the picture, the emotion, the facial expressions come through far more than with colour.

I bet you've got loads of stuff like this you've never posted on here - keep it coming, mixed in with the butterflies, big cats etc.

It'll be more interesting for you in the long fun too - you get a different audience for each subject, it's weird like that !

Very different from your usual upload, even so it is still very good mono portrait.

Has strength as a mono Mary. Unusual angle makes this a very different approach to the subject. Ron.
