Another day and another break from the norm! I have recently purchased a nifty little Interfit beginners studio lighting kit to keep me entertained when the weather stops me from discovering something to shoot at (with my camera). The nice long bank holiday weekend gave me time to have a play and my sisters boyfriend was soon collared to stand under the spotlight so I could steal his sole lol. After a lot of playing with settings I managed to get the exposure reasonably satisfactory (to my own novice standards) and got some shots I was happy with. At this point I then could appreciate the massive importance of a light meter so I have one on its way in the post.
The title is kind of self explanitary but the guy is a nice chap, just looks menacing at times with his piercings etc. Anyway I had a go at editing in colour to begine with but I couldn't get it to the point where I was happy so I ran it through my Topaz B&W plugin and had a play, to find much more pleasing results, I found.
Anyway thats enough rambling from me, I hope you enjoy my first 'studio' shot and as always comments and critiques are greatly appreciated!
