Photographed while leading a macro workshop for Calumet (UK) In 2010 in the Peak District, Derbyshire, showing the participants that small in frame has much appeal, a style of photography I have advocated since I first started in 1995.
This image to appear as double-page spread "Opening Shot" in the October 2012 issue of BBC Wildlife Magazine.

A really beautifully captured image, depicting this rather beautiful Dew Sodden Dragon Fly, stunning natural colours, and great detail throughout, enhanced so majestically by the warming daylight. Totally wonderful, and an image which I admire so very much
