Photographed while leading a macro workshop for Calumet (UK) In 2010 in the Peak District, Derbyshire, showing the participants that small in frame has much appeal, a style of photography I have advocated since I first started in 1995.

This image to appear as double-page spread "Opening Shot" in the October 2012 issue of BBC Wildlife Magazine.

A really beautifully captured image, depicting this rather beautiful Dew Sodden Dragon Fly, stunning natural colours, and great detail throughout, enhanced so majestically by the warming daylight. Totally wonderful, and an image which I admire so very much

Regards Nathan

For me it is one of the best dragonfly photos I've seen, the composition and the light are both brilliant.

I have fallen in love with this style lately, and am trying to emulate it as much as I can.

Matt

Thanks Ann

Matt it's so easy longest lens............. shoot wide open and shoot lots of images and a couple you like and a couple you'll like later......
